Devero or Codelago Lake

Devero or Codelago Lake: the homonymous dam - one of the first ones ever built - was built between 1908 and 1912. It represented an impressive enterprise which provided the first hired job opportunities for the local population; nowadays it is the main destination point of hikes thanks to its beautiful places and the comfortable trail leading to it.
The "great East side" of Devero from Alpe Fontane to the Forni has landscapes reminding of Canada: small lakes and peatbogs, summer pastures, grasslands, and open landscapes offer great views to hikers.
