The route "Tratturello Regio - Necropoli di S. Magno" covers a stretch of the "tratturello Canosa - Ruvo", part of it winds through a dirt road, while the other part on asphalted road, within the Fenicia forest. The woods, mainly consisting of downy oaks, are situated along the northern border of the Alta Murgia National Park, on the slope looking at the Adriatic Sea, between 300 m and 500m above sea level.
