Fishing season opening on the Toce River: here are the new regulation updates

(Vogogna, 21 Feb 25) On February 21, 2025, with Presidential Decree No. 1, the new "Regulation for the Exercise of Fishing Activities in the Val Grande National Park" was officially approved. This new regulation aims to ensure the sustainable management of fish resources, protect the park's ecosystem, and promote responsible fishing practices.

Regarding fishing on the Toce River, which is set to open on Sunday, February 23, it is important to note that no Park permit will be required. The FIPSAS membership card alone will be sufficient.

For salmonids in the Toce River, except for rainbow trout, it will be permitted to keep individuals measuring between 60 and 70 cm, with a maximum limit of one individual per day and three per year. For grayling, the minimum catch size is set at 45 cm, with the same catch restrictions.

For further details and specific information, please refer to the complete regulation.

Happy fishing to all!
