The Bove path

  • Trail Conditions: On foot
  • Interest: Hystory

The Bove Trail is a highly demanding ridge route, with sections classified as EEA (for expert hikers with equipment), and should only be tackled by experienced hikers, preferably accompanied by a mountain guide. This trail requires advanced technical skills, strong physical preparation, no fear of heights, and the ability to correctly and carefully use personal protective equipment.
In addition to technical challenges, there are other hazards to consider, such as the potential presence of ice and snow, slippery rocks, lack of water sources, and difficulty in orientation along certain stretches. These factors make the hike particularly demanding and risky, especially considering that, beyond Monte Zeda, no maintenance or trail marking restoration has yet been carried out.
