Country Trail 8 - Soncino/Acqualunga

Park at the Cicero restaurant, which, coming from the old Orzinuovi-Soncino state road in the direction of the latter, is on the left, shortly after the bridge over the Oglio. Take the descent towards the Oglio near the restaurant, at the end of which, on the right, you pass a bar reaching an unpaved road; around the old colony, keeping it to your left: in short you will find a comfortable unpaved road next to the Oglio that you see on your left. Now follow it for several km until the crossroads for Azzanello.
At km 2 turn right along a path that enters a poplar grove, after passing a ford through a bridge. The path turns left and takes you back along the bank, on a wide unpaved road, which you will abandon at km 5, to turn right for a short single track that enters a wood of Pioppi and Robinie; a few tens of meters from there pass a ford then climbing on the ballast, turning left and returning to the river, which you continue to keep to your left.
