Environmental Education Proposals
The Apuane Park's educational offer has developed over the years through its many and different proposals, building a real knowledge "path" which, through the observation, the direct testing and the discovery, makes the protected area a real didactic laboratory in the open air. Little by little in the Park area you will discover natural environments and peculiarities, but also history and ancient traditions with a particular attention for the agricultural-food products. They are integrated structures directly involving some of the Park's structures (the agricultural nature center of Bosa di Careggine and the Apuangeolab of Equi Terme), the Cooperative associations managing the visitor centers, the Park's guides and the economic operators of the territory, able to convey basic knowledges on biodiversity, on the conservation of nature on the geological sites, on the sustainable use of the resources, in order to help children thinking about the value and the need of new development models, and to foster aware behaviors in harmony with the environment.
